Everyone who surfs the web is wound a little bit tight. That’s because every second we spend online, we’re being bombarded with information.
The result of all that information overload? We’re impatient. We’re hard to impress. And maybe even a bit irritated.
Good luck communicating with your customers when they’re in that Type A mind frame.
That’s where I come in.
I’m the Chris in Chris Jordan Creative, LLC. And I am just the sort of Type A person you want creating effective web content for your business.
At this popsicle stand, I’m the Big Kahuna. I’m an Emmy-winning creative content producer with the chops to help you cut through the Internet noise and reel in new customers with targeted, kick-butt content.
My careerpath as a creative-type has been non-traditional to say the least. I started out as a beat reporter for the York Daily Record, covering fascinating topics like zoning, taxes & sewage. Next, I worked at TBS, transcribing tapes and scouting locations for two local Atlanta public affairs shows.
And then I really got rockin’ and rollin’. My next move within the Turner Broadcasting compound was to GameTap.com, Turner’s web-based video game subscription service. I almost 5 years at GameTap, writing, producing, directing, and sometimes even editing over 300 web videos. These videos advertised GameTap’s products–but wrapped them up in a compelling format that was fun to watch.
And I was darn good at my job. During my time at GameTap, the site went from zero subscribers to over 1 million. That success was thanks in part to the broadcast-quality web videos that my peers and I produced, compelling content that garnered thousands of views. Some of that video content even won me a 2008 Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the “Advanced Media” category.
These days, I leverage my experience creating info-tainment videos for one of the biggest media companies in the world to help all kinds of businesses achieve their content marketing goals. I’m trained in SEO (search engine optimization) and landing page optimization, and I’m an expert at using the right kind of persuasion architecture to move prospects through the sales funnel from start to finish.
In short: I’m an artsy-fartsy creative type who also happens to have a business mindset. That’s the value I’m jazzed to bring to your marketing team.
